On the nose a rich peaty smoke with slight saline seaweed. To taste the initial smoky nature is in the forefront with a seaweed undertone, a surprising sweetness that lingers in the finish. To some extent this is the quintessential Islay malt.

Smelling this whisky is incredible! Citrus fruit and fudge come to the forefront with a delicate malt in the undertones. The palate is smooth, seriously smooth. Fudge and citrus balance well with malt that rolls around the mouth like syrup. A slightly spicy finish with layered honey and a touch of vanilla.

Fragrant wood smoke and peaches combine with honey and barley scent to make the depth on the nose pronounced. Viscous and slight spice combine with a light flavour of peach and vanilla pod. To finish the smoke makes another appearance and the lingering taste of stewed peach.

Palate Very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and Sherry with good fruity sweetness, but also a wonderful sweetness. Big, powerful peat and oak. Finish Long, spicy finish, figs, dates, peat smoke, vanilla.

Palate Sweet, malty, with gentle peat and a mellow, silky texture. Vanilla fudge, peaches and cream, and subtle toasted oak follow. Finish Ginger, malt, nutty nougat, and maybe a little grapefruit zest.

On the nose aged berry jam with desiccated coconut, vanilla cream and toffee. Palate has brown sugar, liquorice toffee and cinnamon impact first, followed by currant jam. This leads into black pepper and herby tarragon with a touch of spearmint. On the finish caramel notes and earthiness with a hint of anise.

I have to say, the flavor of Wild Turkey bourbon is absolutely fantastic. The mix of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of spice that hits you when you bring the glass up to your nose is truly delightful. If youre looking for a bourbon that is genuine and full of flavor

Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound.

Ledaig 10 is an extraordinary and distinguished hand-crafted 10 year single malt whisky. It has the Tobermory Distillery signature smoky expression.

This amber gold whisky has been matured in a mix of sherry, American virgin oak, ex-bourbon casks and has an aroma of vanilla and toffee, candied citrus fruits, and dried fruit, all balanced with a gentle hint of clove. On the palate, experience sweet berry notes, sumptuous vanilla, rich honey, and sweet dried fruit.

The whisky is laid down in oak casks, to gently breathe the salt laden Orcadian air for a minimum of 12 years.

On the nose a creamy toffee, caramel and vanilla - offset by a distinct pepperiness. Very slight peat smoke. On the palate, fruity with pear drops and luscious apricot. Creamy vanilla yoghurt and a very gentle smattering of peat.

On the palate, this dram is a spicy bomb in the foreground, drying slowly the palate. It highlights black pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Then it evolves to the sweeter side, full of vanilla and raisins. It is lighter than expected, with orange sponge cake and baked apple notes. There are intense drying oak flavors, and light almond notes. The finish is long and dry, highlighting nutmeg and a fresh touch of ginger.

It's a smooth, sherry-forward, easy drinker of elegance and style. It won't overpower your palate, it's sweet and not too spicy, full bodied and rich- everything you look for in a special occasion whisky to be shared with friends and colleagues. Plenty of nutmeg and cloves, with a touches of raisins, cocoa powder and dates, but also plenty of charred oak. Finally some marzipan and cinnamon.
