Ripe dark fruit aromas with a hint of spice. The wine has rich bramble fruit with notes of blackcurrant pastille, and is finely structured with well-integrated French oak, fine tannins, a light savoury note and a twist of liquorice on the finish.
Deep plum with a violet rim. Nose Blueberries, dark red cherries with Mediterranean herbs, tobacco and spice. This is a warm and fruity wine with medium tannins and gentle acidity. There are dense dark fruits & blackcurrant's, blueberries as well as strawberries and pomegranate with a touch of Eastern spice.
Kisiskhevi is a superb terroir within the wider Kakheti region, particularly for Saperavi. The best grapes are selected for fermentation in Qvevri, resulting in a deep coloured and structured wine that is still remarkably approachable due to its vibrant primary fruit and roasted nut aromas.
Aromas of bramble fruit, vanilla, nutmeg and sweet spice. The palate is rich and complex with blueberry and blackberry fruit, ripe tannins and good length.
Classic Saint-Julien, that shows power and richness with a sense of finesse and restraint too. The nose shows rich fruit with some lifted eucalyptus notes from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate brings intense cassis, with fine grained tannins and a maturity that feels traditional and proper. A very classy left bank Bordeaux.
Juicy, super ripe and softly perfumed on the nose, this is full of the flavours of summer fruit compote. Ripe tannins and vibrant acidity present an easy drinking wine with a soft, approachable finish.
Rich red fruit aromas - cherry, ripe raspberry and a dusting of warm spice - with a full-bodied palate packed with lovely pure fruit flavours, enhanced by the well-judged oak and smooth tannins on the finish.
An elegant English Red Wine, with black cherry, bramble and blackberry flavours, that are perfectly balanced with a fresh, soft body and a very juicy and smooth finish.
A vibrant nose of plum, cherry, violet, sweet spice and dried herbs. The palate has lots of fresh fruit flavours, including sour cherry and plum with refreshing acidity. The youthful fruit combines with spice and bitter chocolate notes giving a wine of depth and personality with a firm, dry and savoury finish - great served with food, perhaps lightly chilled.
Cherry plum flavours with smoked cedar and mint top notes, but as it breathes it gets meatier, juicier and more complex, with roasted nut and woodsy spice notes in the mix too. It’s in a good place now, but it’s on its way to somewhere better.
Made from parcels of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan grown in Costières de Nîmes on red pebble and limestone terroir. Fermentation is kept short to preserve the generous fruit flavours. All the varieties are vinified separately to give Guillaume full flexibility when it comes to blending. The tannins from these sun-ripened grapes soften quickly, so very little ageing is required to keep it supple and more-ish.
Broad aromatic expression, evocative of woodland, blackberry and blueberry, black cherries and hints of liquorice. Prodigious mouthfeel, with fascinating complexity reflected in multiple layers that range from dark chocolate, mushroom/ truffle, and a toasty element with good barrel integration. Fine-grained tannins combine with good acidity (subliminal, but present) to give excellent definition to the formidable structure. A fabulous, epicurean wine to pair with rich, savoury dishes. A wine which will develop beautifully in bottle over the coming years.
